We are Scott and Anita Bowman. We live in Rockhampton Australia and work at Central Queensland University. We have always loved travel and in fact met on the back of a truck in Africa in the early 80s. Since then we have had two children Anneka and Adam and now have three grandchildren Izzy, Owen and Luka.
We have traveled a lot over the years and since moving to Australia have done quite a bit of 4×4 driving and overlanding in our Nissan Patrol. In the new year (2018) we will be taking delivery of an Earth Cruiser. This is an overlanding truck based on an Iveco Daily 4×4. We plan to use it around Australia and then when we retire take it off around the world. This site will chart our adventures in our truck which will be called Charlie.
